Recently, the research on all-optical analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) has been extensively
attempted to break through inherently limited operating speed of electronic devices. In this paper, we
propose to use the photonic crystal fiber for time-stretch analog-to-digital conversion (A/D) system
through generating low-noise, linear chirp distribution, flat super-continuum generation. Based on the
RF analog signal modulation-to-line of chirped pulses, large dispersion photonic crystal fiber is used
for time-domain stretching.
