To solve the problem that remote sensing target detection method has low utilization rate of past remote sensing data on target area, and can not recognize camouflage target accurately, a target detection method by airborne and spaceborne images fusion based on past images is proposed in this paper. The target area's past of space remote sensing image is taken as background. The airborne and spaceborne remote sensing data is fused and target feature is extracted by the means of airborne and spaceborne images registration, target change feature extraction, background noise suppression and artificial target feature extraction based on real-time aerial optical remote sensing image. Finally, the support vector machine is used to detect and recognize the target on feature fusion data. The experimental results have established that the proposed method combines the target area change feature of airborne and spaceborne remote sensing images with target detection algorithm, and obtains fine detection and recognition effect on camouflage and non-camouflage targets.

As the remote sensing technology transformation from military use to civil use becomes deeper and faster, the resolution is better and better, and the relative techniques of the civil optical remote sensing satellite are richer and richer. So, modes such as civil use replacing military use, civil use covering military use, and civil use supporting military use are the real portraiture of high-resolution optical satellite remote sensing development currently. Taking the situations of the Taiwan authorities buying commercial remote sensing image to military reconnaissance, and the so-called military establishments exposed by media using satellite image as an example, the military reconnaissance application of civil high-resolution optical satellite remote sensing is discussed. Then, the actuality and reasons of huge measure engineering and ruled configuring, environment and signs of military area, equipment and exercitation establishments and three-dimension information of engineering and equipment which can be detected easily by remote sensing are analyzed.
A method of using commercial virtual satellite image to check the pattern painting spot effect contrast with the satellite images before painting and after painting have been discussed. Using a housetop as the testing platform analyses and discusses the factors’ influence such as resolution of satellite image, spot size and color of pattern painting spot and pattern painting camouflage method choosing to the plan implement. The pattern painting design and spot size used in the testing has been ensured, and housetop pattern painting has been painted. Finally, the small spot pattern painting camouflage effect of engineering using upon painting pattern size, color and texture have been checked, contrasting with the satellite image before painting and after painting.
