Abstract
The development of urban waterfront areas is very important for urban construction. On the one hand, the waterfront areas have great development value, and on the other hand, the ocean, as a natural resource, needs to be environmentally protected. At present, the traditional waterfront areas are still preserved. In this study, by studying the cases of urban waterfront areas and smart cities, the characteristics of the two are obtained, and the focus of water resource construction is proposed, and other smart cities refine waterfront plans with new technological support
