Abstract
According to the special needs of deep space exploration, the elastic boom, which is a typical type of the deployment mechanism based on material characteristics has attracted more and more attention. This paper studies the forming technology of the elastic boom. Firstly, this paper introduces the technical connotation of elastic boom; then, the analysis and test results of the forming process are presented; finally, the key issues in the processing of the elastic boom are analyzed, the next research focus is proposed.
