Abstract
The stator and mover of linear switched reluctance motors (LSRM) are double-salient pole structures, and their electromagnetic characteristics are highly nonlinear. There is a certain difficulty to control its speed. In order to realize the speed control of LSRM, a speed control strategy based on current chopper in low speed region of linear switched reluctance motor is proposed and designed. In this paper, the Matlab/Simulink simulation software is used to create the simulation model of the speed control system, and the simulation is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the control strategy.
