Abstract
Horizontal lathe often makes noise in the process of running, and damages to the operator's hearing. In this paper, multibody dynamics and acoustic-solid coupling analyses are performed analyze for the gearbox of horizontal lathe using COMSOL software. The variation laws of normal acceleration, sound pressure and sound pressure level during operation are obtained. The research provides a certain theoretical basis to the noise reduction of horizontal lathes.
