Abstract
To guarantee both efficiency and robustness of coordinate transformation, a 3D coordinate transformation model based on adaptive M-estimator is proposed. With the influence of the variance factor on the M-estimator in the coordinate transformation scene analyzed, the RW algorithm is improved to determine global optimal solution of variance factor, and the outliers are eliminated through the adaptive adjustment of the factor. Through the simulation experiment of a control network of mining area, it is indicated that the outliers are located by the adaptive model even under the high rate of outlier. In terms of accuracy, M-estimator is improved to reach or even exceed RANSAC algorithm by this method. As for efficiency, the performance of M-estimator is basically preserved, which is far better than RANSAC algorithm.
