Abstract
Emerging industrial parks are industrial clusters that include information industries, biotechnology industries, and high-end equipment manufacturing. As various industries continue to expand, energy consumption within industrial parks will continue to grow. The emerging industrial park has characteristics such as dispersed energy supply, uncertain energy use, strong coupling between multiple complementary energies and dynamic characteristics at multiple time scales. This makes the system complex and inefficient in operation. To address this issue, this paper proposes an integrated energy system for emerging industrial parks (IES-EIP). Gas turbine cogeneration, heat pumps, and power-to-gas devices are utilized within the system to achieve efficient energy conversion. And then this article explains the physical processes of various energy conversions. Finally, an optimization model for IES-EIP is established in this paper, to minimize the cost of purchasing energy within the park. By centralizing and unified management of energy within the park, the purchase cost of energy is reduced.
