Gd2O2S co-doped Tb3+, Yb3+ and Er3+ phosphors were prepared by coprecipitation method, and their luminescence intensity and fluorescence lifetime were studied. The effects of doping concentration of Tb3+ ion, (1 mol % - 11 mol %) Tb3+ and Yb3+ doping ratio (1:1 - 1:6) and doping concentration of Er3+ ion (0.1 mol % - 1.1 mol %) on the properties and fluorescence lifetime of synthesized Tb3+, Yb3+ and Er3+ Gd2O2S phosphors were investigated. The phase analysis of Gd2O2S:Tb3+, Yb3+, Er3+ phosphors were studied by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). The fluorescence characteristics of Gd2O2S:Tb3+, Yb3+, Er3+ phosphors were studied in terms. In this work energy transfer mode of Gd2O2S:Tb3+, Yb3+, Er3+ phosphors were studied, which provided a proof for the study of the up-conversion system mechanism.
