Abstract
This paper addresses the issue of tilting 220kV transmission towers in the goaf area of a coal mine by employing a welding method to reinforce the legs of the transmission towers, thereby restoring their reliable performance. The research identifies the primary cause of the tower's tilt as uneven foundation settlement and surface subsidence in the coal mine goaf. To rectify the tower's deviation, a wire drawing is used as a corrective measure. Q420B galvanized Angle steel is then chosen to strengthen the transmission tower legs through welding. Following the welding process, the main material surface undergoes cold spraying zinc treatment and passes non-destructive testing. Additionally, foundation reinforcement is conducted to counteract foundation deformation, significantly enhancing the transmission tower's bearing capacity.
