Abstract
The induction motor for electric vehicles needs to be able to work at high speeds, so field-weakening control is necessary. Compared with the traditional 1/ωr method that can only suit no-load, voltage closed-loop control has better performance in outputting the maximum torque. Besides, sensorless control makes the system less costly and more robust, but most studies on it focus on low speeds. This paper introduces a new control structure to better fit the application of electric vehicles, and the performance of the speed adaptive flux observer is analyzed in detail. Matlab/Simulink results verify the validity of the proposed theory.
