Abstract
In order to solve the problem of high cost and large human resource consumption when the pipeline leaks in large-diameter long-distance water transmission projects for pipeline repair operations, a new type of electromagnetic adsorption drainage cover for underwater welding used inside the pipeline is proposed. It can be used directly inside the pipeline. The drainage cover is adsorbed on the inner wall of the pipeline by an electromagnet, forming a local anhydrous environment, meeting the requirements of underwater welding, and operator can weld and repair the pipeline cracks inside the drainage cover. In this paper, the overall structure of the electromagnetic adsorption drainage cover is introduced. According to different extreme working conditions, the static model of the drainage cover is established, and the limit adsorption force of the electromagnet is analyzed when the drainage cover is slip failure, overturning failure and impact overturning failure on the inner wall of the pipeline, which proves the reliability of the electromagnetic adsorption of the drainage cover.
