Abstract
In order to understand the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of taxi average earnings and the impact of POI facilities on average earnings, this paper utilizes taxi GPS data to calculate the average hourly earnings of taxis and analyze the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of average earnings. On this basis, multiple linear regression equations are established between average earnings and the numbers of ten types of POI facilities, in order to explore the POI factors influencing average earnings. The research findings indicate that the average earnings during the day are lower than those during the night, and the average earnings on working days are higher than those on non-working days. The high-earning areas during the day are different from those during the night, while the high-earning areas on working days are similar to those on non-working days. Regardless of the day or night, there is a correlation between the average earnings on working days and the POI facilities, while there is no correlation between the average earnings on nonworking days and the POI facilities.
