Abstract
The article refers to the critical analysis of optical system, used in gas analyzers with infrared radiation absorption. To find energy-saving solution, the systems using paraboloids and ellipsoids which cooperate with semi- conducting detector have been considered. The system with ellipsoidal concentrators as more effective in an energy- way, has been the subject to the thorough analysis. For the purpose of compensation of radiation source ageing process and changes in ambient temperature, the three-stage modulation system of infrared radiation has been used. To prove the justness of the solution, the optimal and comparative converter has been constructed and tested.
