Abstract
The dependence of the maximum diffraction efficiency (eta) m of hologram, which has been recorded in a BSO crystal, and also the dependence of an orientation angle (theta) m at which (eta) m is reached on the crystal thickness d are investigated. It is shown, that the optical activity and piezoelectric effect qualitatively change the form of dependences (eta) m(d) and (theta) m (d).
