Abstract
In IP/MPLS/WDM networks, routing, resource allocation are usually conducted separately in IP/MPLS layer and WDM optical layer, which often suffers from low resource utilization and low survivable performance. In this paper, under the integrated dynamic routing scheme of IP/MPLS/WDM, we compared and analyzed three different routing strategies VFPL, PFVL and MRRF, which differs in whether choose to conduct routing upon the virtual topology first or upon the physical topology first when an LSP connection request arrives. Via simulation, the performance of these integrated routing schemes in terms of blocking probability are presented.
