The Ising model has drawn much research interest for its simplicity and its fundamentality. The solution for the 3-D Ising model is studied comprehensively over the years, and to use Monte Carlo method to computationally gain a numerical solution for the model has proven to be an effective way that provides good precision. The common simulation algorithms usually use the same equilibrium time for all temperatures; however, such conduct ignores the difference in the equilibrium behavior at different temperatures. In this work, the equilibrium time for the 3-D Ising model was probed into within wide temperature range, and its equilibrium behavior, the relation between equilibrium time and temperature, is quantitatively obtained, in the hope that, efficiency in future simulations could be increased by applying appropriate simulation time for all temperatures, and that our understanding of the dynamics of the Ising could be furthered.
