With the continuous improvement of computer-aided design technology, three-dimensional design technology has developed rapidly. Among them, 3D modeling is the foundation of 3D design technology and an important part of 3D design. This paper takes the 3D modeling of the Taizicheng cable-stayed bridge as an example, and introduces a "skeleton + template" modeling method based on Dassault's 3D experience platform CATIA software. Cable-stayed bridges can be quickly modeled using this modeling method. The study provides new insights into the construction of numerical bridge models.
