Profile Summary

Kung-Bin Sung received MS and PhD degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He worked as a research scientist at Intel Corporation during 2003-2006. He has been a faculty member of the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics at National Taiwan University since 2006. His research focuses on developing noninvasive optical spectroscopy and microscopy techniques for early diagnosis of precancers and monitoring physiological parameters.
