Abstract
Freeway construction conditions are complex and require a system that can take these complexities into consideration in the modeling phase so as to optimizing time and cost savings. For this reason, international freeway digital system is established through BIM building information modelling, which integrates various information in the system and can reflect the details of each stage of the freeway project. In this study, which is based on the international freeway project, the modelling method of the freeway BIM digital system is formulated, and the application of BIM technology in the design and construction of international freeways is explored, which is effective in the construction of freeways. A collaborative management platform based on the BIM model was established to promote the development of intelligent construction and management of freeways.
