The demand in the national standard is defined as the average power in the demand period. Both industry and power grid enterprise standards require that when the power flow direction of the voltage line is converted, the electric energy meter should start from the current moment and follow the demand period. In the case of frequent changes in the user load flow direction, the demand will frequently restart the measurement, which will result in inaccurate demand measurement. In the case of the implementation of the two-part electricity price, the demand is also the basis for calculating electricity charges. For this reason, the current demand in the electric energy meter is divided into 6 channels according to the direction: positive active, negative active, and four quadrants reactive. The 6 channels are independent of each other, and the demand measurement is carried out at the same time, which can solve the accuracy problem of demand measurement in the case of frequent load changes.
